Description
Veronica gentianoides Dark Form
Height x Spread: 45cm x 60cm
V.gentianoides Dark Form has spikes of gorgeous pale blue flowers over-laid with darker violet-blue veins, during spring. A compact perennial, this Veronica has dark stems and small green lance-shaped foliage which creates a carpet of green throughout the year. Cutting back the spent flower stems will keep this plant tidy.
A good choice for the front of your border or if you need something to edge walkways. Any reasonable soil will be fine, although ideally it prefers a moist but well-drained spot. Happy to grow in either sun or partial shade.
