Our display at RHS Malvern Spring Festival was a gold medal winner.
Packed with spring flowering herbaceous perennials, along with some biennials and trees, the display reflected our love of country gardens.
During the show Rob was interviewed by Adam Frost for BBC Gardeners World where he talked about VERONICA gentianoides 'Tissington White'. This variety was found by Rob's grandfather 120 years ago, and brought to the market by Rosy and Rob in the 1980s.
While Adam Frost went home with some plants, others weren't so lucky as we sold out of all stock at the show - but we'll have some later in the year. Keep an eye on our website Genus - Veronica (hardysplants.co.uk)
We were also delighted that HRH Princess Anne came and talked to us during the show.
What was said between Rob and HRH remains only known to them. But we've had many suggestions on our Instagram and Facebook feeds - many of which suggest it was a conversation about hugs, cake, gin, a pub lunch and a visit to the nursery.
