Description
Aster amellus 'King George'
Height x Spread: 50cm x 50cm
Beautiful large lilac daisy flowers are produced in profusion in late summer.
It combines beautifully with yellows, definitely try it with Rudbeckia, deep purples and whites. A great choice for the border, it also looks good mixed with grasses. A further asset is that it is mildew resistant. Bees and butterflies love landing on the flowers as there is plenty of pollen and nectar for them. Full sun and a free draining soil are the best conditions to grow this plant.
