Established since 1988, Hardy’s Cottage Garden Plants is a working plant nursery supplying high quality, robust plants to the public, designers and across the horticultural industry. Begun by Rosy and Robert Hardy from their own back yard, the nursery has flourished and now occupies a purpose-built site set above the famous River Test in the beautiful Hampshire countryside of central, southern England. 

Specialising in herbaceous perennials, our plants are grown peat-free and with sustainability in mind. As well as providing plants by mail order or collection, you are welcome to visit our on-site shop where you will be welcomed warmly by our friendly horticultural team who can advise and guide you in your plant choice. ‘Successful gardening is about finding the right plant for the right place’ and we are here to help.
