100% Peat Free Pollinator Friendly RHS Award of Garden Merit

Achillea Anthea is a beautiful Yarrow with flat heads of soft yellow flowers that age gracefully to cream, held above finely cut, grey-green foliage. A magnet for bees and hoverflies throughout summer.

It is a wonderfully versatile perennial — equally at home in a cottage garden border or a contemporary prairie planting scheme combined with dark grasses and purple or violet companions. To encourage a second flush of flowers, cut all spent stems back to ground level. It thrives in a sunny, open position in most well-drained soils, with alkaline conditions particularly to its liking.

  • Care Guide:

Achillea is drought tolerant once established but dislikes heavy, wet clay over winter. Cut back after the first flush of flowers to encourage repeat-flowering. Divide clumps every three to four years to keep plants vigorous.
