A very elegant, pure white-flowering form of yarrow, Achillea 'W.B. Childs' holds its flowers high above a mat of mid-green leaves with serrated edges.

Each individual flower is larger than a one penny piece, creating quite a show in the border. Definitely one for the connoisseur, it can be hard to find but is actually easy to grow, thriving in free-draining soil in a sunny position.

Plant Notes

    Achillea is drought tolerant once established but dislikes heavy, wet clay over winter. Cut back after the first flush of flowers to encourage repeat-flowering. Divide clumps every three to four years to keep plants vigorous.
