Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
Sprays of bright orange-red flowers with a distinct yellow centre appear in summer over grey foliage, the blooms gently fading to cream as they mature. A favourite of RHS Hampton Court show garden designers, it produces masses of flowers over a long period.
An excellent choice for a hot-coloured border, it mixes particularly well with lower-growing ornamental grasses. A reliable cottage garden staple. Best in full sun in free-draining soil.

Care Guide:
Achillea is drought tolerant once established but dislikes heavy, wet clay over winter. Cut back after the first flush of flowers to encourage repeat-flowering. Divide clumps every three to four years to keep plants vigorous.
