Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
Artemisia schmidtiana ‘Nana’ forms a low, spreading mound of soft, aromatic silver foliage, finely divided into hair-like lobes. Small, nodding yellowish flower heads appear in summer, but the finely textured leaves are its main attraction.
Its compact, semi-evergreen growth suits gravel gardens and path edges, where the silvery mounds contrast with surrounding planting. It also spills gently over the edge of a container.
