Penstemon ‘White Bedder’ bears white, tubular bell-shaped flowers suffused with pale pink from summer into autumn. This clump-forming, semi-evergreen perennial has upright stems and glossy, ovate green leaves.
Its long flowering season makes it a useful choice for smaller gardens. It grows well in full sun or dappled shade in reasonably fertile, well-drained soil.
Hardiness: H3 (−5°C to 1°C). Half-hardy, suited to mild, sheltered gardens. Protect from early frosts and provide winter protection in colder areas.

Care Guide:
Deadhead regularly to encourage further flowering. Leave the top growth in place over winter to help protect the crown, then cut back hard in spring after the last frosts. Take soft-tip cuttings in early summer or semi-ripe cuttings in midsummer as insurance against winter losses.
