Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
Thalictrum aquilegiifolium ‘The Cloud’ bears clouds of fluffy pink-purple flowers on dark, upright stems in midsummer. Its grey-green leaves resemble those of Aquilegia.
This tall, deciduous perennial suits the back of a sheltered border, where neighbouring plants can help support its stems. It favours partial shade and moist but well-drained soil, disappearing below ground in autumn before returning the following spring.
