Veronica longifolia ‘Charlotte’ PBR (v) is a relatively compact speedwell producing a cluster of upright stems with lance-shaped green leaves edged in white. Slender flower spikes are clad in white buds that burst open to pure white flowers through summer.
Treat it like a Penstemon by deadheading the first flowers to encourage flowering further down the stem. Happy in any reasonable soil in sun or partial shade. A magnet for butterflies and bees, it makes a striking addition to borders and cottage garden schemes.
