Eutrochium purpureum ‘Baby Joe’ PBR — a compact form of Joe Pye Weed — produces fluffy, rich pink-purple flower heads in late summer and autumn that are a magnet for bees and butterflies. More restrained in stature than the species, it is ideal for smaller gardens or for combining with taller selections to create a layered effect.
It thrives in full sun or partial shade in any moist soil, including heavy clay — a useful quality that makes it particularly versatile. An excellent choice for prairie, wildlife, and waterside planting schemes.
