Geum rivale ‘Album’ is a white-flowered Water Avens producing initially nodding bells of green-white flowers that mature and gently open on hairy stems above clumping mid-green foliage in spring.
Well suited to streamside and poolside planting, where its naturalistic form is shown to best advantage, it is equally at home in woodland gardens and shaded borders. Its spreading, clumping foliage provides good ground cover. It thrives in moist soil in partial shade.
