Campanula lactiflora ‘Loddon Anna’ is a tall, branching Milky Bellflower whose stems bear clusters of dusky-pink bell-shaped flowers throughout the summer months. This self-seeding perennial is happy to grow in partial shade and will even withstand a little sun during the day; a free-draining yet moisture-retentive soil is ideal.
Applying a layer of mulch will help keep this hungry plant looking good — avoid planting in acidic conditions. The perfect choice for a cottage garden where its seedlings can be allowed to grow on where desired. On exposed sites staking may be required.
