Veronicastrum virginicum ‘Album’ — Culver’s Root — produces slender, pure white flower spikes in late summer and autumn on tall, upright stems bearing whorls of lance-shaped green leaves with serrated margins.
‘Album’ brings strong vertical interest and cool elegance to white borders, prairie schemes, and cottage gardens, performing well in sun or partial shade in any reasonably good, moisture-retentive but free-draining soil.
