From the South (Andover, Salisbury, Southampton, Winchester)
Take the Whitchurch slip road off the A34 and follow Winchester Street into Whitchurch town centre (~1 mile).
At the mini-roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Newbury Street (signed Newbury/A34 northbound).
Almost immediately (~25 yards), turn right onto the B3400 London Street (signed Overton & Basingstoke). The White Hart Hotel will be on your left.
Continue along the B3400 through Wells-in-the-Field and into Freefolk. Look for our brown sign — take the first left after the Freefolk sign.
Turn left onto Priory Lane, pass the Watership Down Pub and the last houses, then turn right into our entrance (~200 yards).
From the North (Newbury)
Exit the A34 at the Litchfield slip road (signed Whitchurch) and follow the old A34 for 3 miles into town.
Coming down Newbury Road, just before the mini-roundabout turn left onto the B3400 London Street (signed Overton & Basingstoke). The White Hart Hotel will be on your left.

From the East (Basingstoke)
Take the B3400 westbound, following signs for Bombay Sapphire Distillery.
Continue through Overton and Laverstoke, passing the Bombay Sapphire Distillery and a long row of thatched cottages on your right.
On entering Freefolk, turn right onto Priory Lane.
Continue uphill past the Watership Down Pub and turn right into our entrance (~200 yards).
Getting Here by Public Transport
The easiest way to reach us by public transport is via Basingstoke, which is well connected by train from London, Andover, Salisbury, Winchester and Newbury.
From Basingstoke station, catch the Stagecoach No. 76 bus directly to Freefolk/Laverstoke — no changes needed.
If you prefer to travel by train to Overton or Whitchurch (South Western Railway, Basingstoke–Salisbury line), the No. 76 bus does serve both — do bear in mind it's a 15–20 minute walk from either station to the bus stop, so travelling light is advisable!
Take the Stagecoach No. 76 and alight at one of two stops, both an easy walk to the nursery:
Wells in the Field stop — approx. 6-minute walk (travelling from Whitchurch direction)
Manor Cottages stop — approx. 5-minute walk (travelling from Overton direction)
