Description
Acis autumnalis
Height x Spread: 20cm x 30cm
This little plant is dormant for a long time. Then in autumn atop the fine, wiry, grass-like foliage appear dainty, white, bell-shaped flowers.
Rather special and well worth the wait, it makes a great addition to a rock or gravel garden, where its graceful form can be best displayed. Alternatively plant it in a sunny position at the front of a border, where it prefers a well drained soil.
