Dahlia 'Christopher Taylor'

A stunning Water-lily Dahlia, 'Christopher Taylor' produces luscious cherry-red flowerheads that contrast well with its mid-green leafy foliage. It stole the show on our RHS Chelsea 2014 stand, its luminosity and depth of colour stopping people in their tracks.

This strong-growing plant delivers long-lasting cut flowers and will add panache to many styles of planting from informal cottage to urban courtyard. 'Christopher Taylor' will thrive in full sun within a fertile, humus rich, well-drained soil. In colder areas lift, dry and store tubers frost-free once autumn frosts begin. In milder areas tubers can be left in but protect the crown with mulch.
