Foeniculum vulgare 'Purpureum'

Commonly known as Bronze Fennel, 'Purpureum' has vibrant yellow umbelliferous flowers which burst onto the scene during late summer, this perennial is often grown just for its fine feathery bronze foliage.

A great architectural plant for your borders and beds, suiting a sunny area and well-drained soils. Superb in naturalistic planting schemes, this fennel will seed around happily. If you don't want to have seedlings remove the flower umbels and enjoy the beautiful foliage.
