Commonly known as Sweet Rocket or Dame's Violet, it blooms during spring. This short-lived perennial produces clusters of lilac scented flowers on upright stems. A basal rosette of green foliage is at the base of leaf stems.
Moisture-retentive soil with a pH of neutral to alkaline is ideal for Sweet Rocket to flourish. Fantastic for flower borders and beds, coastal situations and wildlife gardens. Situations with sun or part shade are ideal for this plant.
