Hylotelephium spectabile ‘Iceberg’ is a white-flowered ice plant, emerging in spring as pale buds that slowly develop into clumps of distinctive grey-green, fleshy foliage. In late summer, dense clusters of tiny white flowers open from greenish-white buds, gradually opening fully as the season moves into autumn. The upright seedheads persist through winter and are particularly striking when edged with frost.
It thrives in full sun in poor to moderately fertile, well-drained soil, and is well suited to gravel gardens and sunny borders. The fleshy foliage is also valued for cut flower arrangements.
