Lathyrus vernus 'Alboroseus'

This sweet-pea has short stems that bear white and rose pink pea-like flowers during spring. A herbaceous clump-forming perennial it is commonly known as Spring Vetchling.

Unlike its climbing cousins, Lathyrus vernus looks stunning when used to under-plant shrubs or to add early season interest to the front of flower beds and borders. Best when grown in either sun or partial shade and a reasonably good soil.

All parts of this plant are toxic.
