Phlox x arendsii 'Lilac Star'

'Lilac Star' is a stunning Phlox with single lilac blooms forming large panicles during the summer. The contrasting green foliage with its dark hints also provides interest. 

When planting this perennial in your beds and borders choose a situation in the sun or partial shade - it is not fussy about soil type. Just keep deadheading to prolong flowering. Butterflies are particularly attracted to this perennial, so it is great for anyone developing a wildlife garden.
