Lysimachia clethroides

Native to China and Japan, Lysimachia clethroides is commonly known as Gooseneck. This vigorous spreading perennial forms a cluster of erect stems with narrow grey green leaves. These stems bear arching spikes of pure white flowers during summer.

Sheltered conditions in the sun or part shade are important for Gooseneck to thrive. Moist soils are preferred however Gooseneck will cope in any good soil. This perennial can be divided in spring and autumn.
