Lungworts often form a delightful mound of attractive foliage, and ‘Opal’ is no exception — bright silver markings contrast beautifully against the dark green leaves. Delicate two-tone lilac, bell-shaped flowers appear during spring.
Light or dappled shade are the preferred conditions for this perennial. It thrives in humus-rich, moisture-retentive soils and is ideally suited for underplanting trees and shrubs, woodland settings, ground cover, and border or walkway edging.
