Salvia atriplicifolia 'Little Spire'
Height x Spread: 60cm x 60cm
This compact cultivar of Russian Sage has sensational pure white stems bearing grey-green deeply divided foliage which has an attractive scent. During late summer spires of small violet-blue tubular flowers are produced.
It is great for relatively dry, hot sunny borders; it thrives in well-drained soils but dislikes too much winter wet. 'Little Spire' is a low maintenance sub-shrub which can be used in gravel gardens, coastal locations and wall-side borders.
