Globularia cordifolia, commonly known as Heart-leaved Globe Daisy, produces dainty, pale lavender-blue spherical flowerheads of feathery petals over a carpet of glossy, evergreen leaves.
This ankle-high alpine is well suited to rock and gravel gardens, and combines well with other alpines in a raised trough. It thrives in neutral to alkaline, very free-draining soil in full sun, with shelter from excessive winter dampness.
