Nepeta — Catmint — is a genus of  herbaceous perennials bearing spikes of typically lavender-blue flowers above aromatic foliage throughout summer. Easy to grow in any well-drained soil in full sun, most are drought-tolerant once established and much loved by bees and other pollinators.
