Zizia is a small genus of North American prairie perennials in the carrot family, producing flattened umbels of bright yellow flowers in late spring and early summer. Excellent for naturalistic, wildlife and prairie-style plantings, they thrive in moist but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade and are outstanding pollinator plants.
