Euphorbia palustris
Height x Spread: 75cm x 60cm
This has to be one of my favourite plants in this genus - it creates wonderful clumps that slowly increase in size. The strong stems are clothed with narrow leaves and topped with almost flat inflorescences of lime green to sulphur yellow in early summer.
This plant will tolerate many soils including heavy or quite damp. The foliage goes the most amazing autumn colours with the bare stems being bright red. Cut it to ground level in winter or early spring.
Harmful if eaten, the sap is an irritant to skin and eyes.
