Commonly known as Marsh Spurge, this vibrant euphorbia grows slowly to form large, bushy clumps. Strong stems are clothed with narrow leaves and topped with almost flat inflorescences of lime green to sulphur yellow in late spring to early summer. By autumn the fresh green foliage turns the most amazing shades of yellow and orange, with bare stems flushing bright red — prolonging interest well into the season. It thrives in full sun and tolerates many soils including heavy or quite damp ground. Cut back to ground level in winter or early spring. Grown peat free.
Harmful if eaten; the sap is an irritant to skin and eyes. Take suitable precautions when handling.
