Lathyrus vernus is commonly known as Spring Vetchling. The variety 'Dama Duet' has purple standards with a mauve keel during the spring. A clump of pinnate rounded leaves appear under the blooms.
Lathers vernus 'Dama Duet' thrives in humus-rich, moist but free-draining soils in sun or dappled shade. A superb spring flowering under-planter for shrubs and roses. It will also look fantastic when planted towards the front of a flower border or bed.
