One of the more flamboyant Leucanthemum available, 'Wirral Supreme' boasts large, double white flowers with a ruff of long outer petals and a dense, frilly centre of shorter ones with a yellow eye.
Flowering from midsummer into autumn, its height and size will add real impact to the middle layer of a sunny border, making cool combinations with soft oranges, blues, purples and crimsons. A definite contender for a white garden, it also cuts well for vases. Low maintenance, it prefers a sunny or partially shaded spot in a fairly nutrient-rich, moist but free draining soil.
