One of the more flamboyant Leucanthemum available, 'Wirral Supreme' boasts large, double white flowers with a ruff of long outer petals and a dense, frilly centre of shorter ones around a yellow eye.
Flowering from midsummer into autumn, its height and presence add real impact to the middle layer of a sunny border, making cool combinations with soft oranges, blues, purples, and crimsons. A natural choice for a white garden, it also cuts well for vases. Low maintenance, it prefers a sunny or partially shaded position in reasonably fertile, moist but free-draining soil.
