Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
Achillea ‘Apfelblüte’ (Galaxy Series) produces a profusion of bright mid-pink flowers that fade to pale pink, over mid-green, fern-like foliage.
Its delicious colour combination and reliability make this yarrow very popular for traditional cottage garden and herbaceous borders alike. Bees and hoverflies cannot resist it either. Cut back once the plant has flowered to keep the foliage tidy and encourage regrowth. Best in full sun and free-draining, alkaline soil.

Care Guide:
Achillea is drought tolerant once established but dislikes heavy, wet clay over winter. Cut back after the first flush of flowers to encourage repeat-flowering. Divide clumps every three to four years to keep plants vigorous.
