Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
'Peter Cottontail' produces masses of large, ivory-white, button-like flowers held above a low mound of glossy, dark green foliage. Compared with other A. ptarmica selections, the flowers are notably larger and the habit more compact.
Reliable and low-maintenance, the flowers cut well for vases. It thrives in full sun but tolerates light shade and most well-drained soil types, including chalk. Rabbits and deer tend to leave it alone.

Care Guide:
Achillea is drought tolerant once established but dislikes heavy, wet clay over winter. Cut back after the first flush of flowers to encourage repeat-flowering. Divide clumps every three to four years to keep plants vigorous.
