Allium canadense

Delicate light pink flowers form perfect spherical heads — like tiny starbursts — held well above narrow, grass-like, mid-green foliage.

This charming little Allium thrives in a sunny gravel garden or at the front of a border, where its blooms will draw in bees and other insect pollinators. After flowering, treat it as you would any hardy perennial: simply divide by detaching the bulbils from the sides of the clump to increase your stock.
