Commonly known as St Bernard's Lily, Anthericum liliago produces elegant spikes of dainty white star-shaped flowers in early to mid-summer, held above narrow, strap-like grey-green foliage in neat, tidy clumps.
Ideally suited to a gravel garden, it thrives in free-draining soil in full sun. Patient gardeners are rewarded as the clumps slowly build in size, becoming increasingly impressive over the years. A lovely, understated plant for a naturalistic or Mediterranean-style planting scheme.
