Aster frikartii 'Mönch'

Aster frikartii ‘Mönch’ is one of the tallest single-flowered daisy asters, ideal for the front to middle of a border. Sought after for its copious bright lavender flowers with golden-yellow centres, produced from late summer into autumn, it is much beloved by bees and butterflies and cuts well for arrangements.

It makes delicious combinations with yellows, purples, whites and oranges. Performs best in a sunny position in reasonable, well-drained soil.
