A lovely spring-flowering plant, Aubrieta Royal Series is smothered with blooms in deep shades of purple to pink over low, mounding, evergreen foliage. An improved version of an old garden favourite, it is perfect for a rockery, trough or tumbling over walls, and will grow quite happily in crevices too.
To keep it tidy, cut back hard after flowering — at least halfway up the stems. It prefers free-draining soil in a sunny position.
