Boltonia asteroides var. latisquama

Masses of white single Aster-like flowers are produced on tall branching stems with mid green narrow foliage from late summer to late autumn. A great addition to any cutting garden it is also perfect for pollinators, attracting bees and butterflies.

This late-flowering hardy plant hails from the USA where it grows on gravelly shores and sandy thickets. Also said to be deer resistant but we have not tested that claim yet. This tall versatile plant prefers a spot with full sun to part sun and can cope with any reasonably fertile soil.
