Borde Hill Specialist Autumn Plant Fair

Autumn colour in abundance awaits at this wonderfully historic garden, set in over 300 acres of parkland with an awe-inspiring plant collection.

The ever-popular Specialist Autumn Plant Fair returns to Borde Hill on Sunday 20th September, hosted by the Plant Fairs Roadshow — a collective of independent specialist nurseries. Visitors can expect an extraordinary lineup of locally grown, garden-worthy and unusual plants from leading growers across the South East, including several RHS exhibitors, set out in beautiful stalls on the Azalea Ring. Borde Hill’s gardening team will be on hand throughout to offer expert horticultural advice.

After visiting the plant fair, enjoy a wander through the grounds and take in the Italian Garden and the Garden of Allah. Late summer is a spectacular time to visit, with dahlias, Japanese anemones, hydrangeas, roses, miscanthus and helenium all providing sumptuous colour. Don’t miss Jay Robin’s Rose Garden with its 750+ David Austin English roses, the Blue Borders, or Paradise Walk — a perennial border designed by Chris Beardshaw.
