The most intensely silvered of the Brunnera cultivars, ‘Looking Glass’ — Siberian Bugloss — produces a clump-forming mound of heart-shaped leaves that are almost entirely silver, with only the finest green veining visible. In spring, bright blue, forget-me-not-like flowers appear above the foliage, creating a striking contrast that looks particularly effective alongside darker-leaved plants.
An excellent choice for a shaded woodland border or to brighten a shaded path or corner. Like other Brunnera, it thrives in moisture-retentive, fertile soil with reasonable drainage, and will tolerate drier periods once established.
