This unusual Buddleja produces masses of fragrant, yellow-gold flowers in ball-like clusters along its long, arching branches from summer to early autumn, contrasting beautifully with its narrow, dark grey-green foliage.
A fabulous addition to any wildlife garden, its nectar- and pollen-rich flowers attract bees, butterflies and moths in their droves, while its seeds are much coveted by birds later in the year. Cut back hard to pairs of new buds after the last frosts in spring. Like all butterfly bushes, it thrives in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade.
