Campanula 'Kent Belle'

Deservedly popular for its distinctive large violet-blue bell-flowers that gently sway from long stems above low spreading mounds of green foliage in summer, 'Kent Belle' is one of those go-to plants for a classic cottage garden scheme, where it is often used to underplant and disguise the unsightly bare legs of roses. 

This veritable bee magnet looks wonderful planted in clumps through the middle of a border helping to draw the eye around the garden, its jewel-like colour combining beautifully with pinks, oranges, soft yellows and whites.  For the best results plant it in a fertile, free-draining soil in full sun to part shade.
