Commonly known as Bellflower, Campanula 'Paul Furse' is a perennial with a vigorously spreading habit. It has ovate leaves with a toothed margin, and violet-blue, hanging bell-shaped flowers appear on erect stems in midsummer.
It will cope in any soil providing the pH is not too acidic, and prefers partial shade but tolerates a sunnier position. A charming self-seeder, it will often wander gently in search of its preferred conditions.
