Centaurea triumfettii subsp. stricta

Commonly known as Erect Centaury, this Centaurea spp. has a clump-forming habit. Pretty royal blue flowers with a flushed-pink centre are produced over the toothed lance-shaped silvery leaves, in summer. 

This plant is ideal for rockeries, alpine gardens and coastal sites. Ensure you plant it in well-drained, sunny borders.
