Chelone obliqua

Chelone obliqua, commonly known as Turtlehead, bears distinctive two-lipped pink tubular flowers atop stiff upright stems with deep green leaves in autumn. The flowers are followed by attractive seedpods that persist through winter and look fabulous covered with frost.

Plant in any reasonable, moisture-retentive soil in a sheltered sunny or partially shaded position.
