Christmas Wreath Workshop 4 Dec AM

Workshops are held in our potting shed.

Your ticket price includes everything you need for a truly memorable session:

• Expert tuition and hands-on guidance throughout

• A wreath base
• A gorgeous range of seasonal foliage
• Decorations — from beautifully natural to delightfully sparkly
• Ribbon to finish your wreath in style
• A glass of fizz — Prosecco or a non-alcoholic alternative
• Festive nibbles including mince pies, sausage rolls, and alternatives
• Unlimited hot drinks — tea, coffee, or hot chocolate

Getting Here & Parking

Priory Lane is a narrow, single-track lane. Please drive slowly — you may encounter pedestrians, other vehicles, horses, and wildlife sharing the road.

Evening workshops: Park in the Deliveries car park — the 2nd entrance on the right when approaching from the B3400 (London Road). Please enter and exit at no more than 5 mph. Staff in high-vis jackets will guide you to the potting shed using torches.

Day workshops: Park in the Shop car park — the 1st entrance on the right from the B3400. Please drive slowly entering and exiting. If you have accessibility requirements, contact us in advance and we'll arrange parking closer to the workshop.

Vehicle Movements

Our yard and staff car park (in front of the large barn/potting shed) is also used by delivery drivers. Please take care when crossing the yard and avoid lingering in parking areas.

Paths & Footwear

Our paths and car parks are gravel and uneven. Please wear sturdy, close-toed, non-slip shoes or boots — this protects against slips, cold, and any sharp wire offcuts. Please do not wear open-toed sandals or flip flops.

Working in Cold Conditions

Our potting shed is heated, but it can be cold in winter. Please dress in layers including a hat that can be adjusted. Hot drinks are available throughout the workshop.

Snips, Stub Wire & Binding Wire

You'll be using snips, stub wire, and binding wire during the workshop — all of which are sharp. We'll provide full guidance on safe handling at the start of the session. Always be mindful of where your fingers are when cutting, and place your snips safely when not in use. We have trained first aiders and a first aid kit on site.

Toxic Plant Material

Some plant material can be toxic to humans, pets, and wildlife. We'll advise you during the workshop. We recommend using the nitrile gloves provided to avoid skin irritation. Please let us know in advance if you are allergic to nitrile gloves or have sensitivities to certain plants.

Always wash your hands after handling plants and before eating or smoking.

Trips, Slips & Falls

Please keep your workspace tidy, avoid leaving equipment or plant material on the floor, and keep all doorways clear at all times.

Food Allergies & Intolerances

We provide Prosecco, non-alcoholic alternatives, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and festive nibbles including mince pies. If you have a food allergy, intolerance, or dietary preference, please let us know in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Please note: we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Smoking

We operate a strict no-smoking policy during workshops. It is illegal to smoke in any enclosed space, including the potting shed and toilets. This applies to both cigarettes and e-cigarettes.

Registration & Emergency

You'll be asked to register on arrival. Please inform us if you require any additional support in the event of an emergency.

Fire Safety

A brief fire safety talk will be given before the start of every workshop.

Unlimited hot drinks such as tea, coffee or hot chocolate

If you have a food allergy, intolerance or dietary preference, please let us know in advance and we'll do our best to supply an alternative for you.

We cannot guarantee an allergen free environment.

• We regret we are unable to offer refunds on talks and workshops, but we can offer transfers to an alternative date (subject to availability and sufficient notice):

a.2 weeks' notice — full transfer to another event of the same value

b.1 week's notice — 50% refund

c.Less than 2 days' notice — no refund available

• Friends or family are welcome to attend in your place, provided we are notified at least one working day before the event — please provide their name
• If Hardy's cancels a talk or workshop, you will be offered a full transfer or a full refund
• We reserve the right to remove anyone from the nursery if their behaviour is considered likely to cause offence or nuisance to other visitors or staff
