Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
Deep orange double flowers arranged in sprays appear from late summer, making this an excellent choice for flower arranging.
Best in a bright spot in moist but well-drained soil, this herbaceous perennial has lobed, grey-green leaves that are mostly obscured by the sheer number of flowers in autumn. Loved by bees, this tall Chrysanthemum benefits from a sheltered position to avoid the need for staking.
When flowering finishes, cut the plant back to approximately 10cm to ensure a strong, bushy plant the following year and to protect new shoots emerging from the base. Apply an organic mulch in autumn to protect new growth from frost damage.
H3 — semi-hardy in the UK (-5°C to -10°C). Can be lifted in very exposed areas for winter protection.
Potential skin allergen. Wear gloves when handling.
